- Marija M

Professional teachers, pianos, and teaching skills.

- Chen X

Agnes is a terrific teacher. I’m having piano lessons for the first time in my life, at 50, and I am very happy that she is teaching me.

- Scott L.

Having now moved teachers across to Agnes (post Emma taking maternity leave) we could not be happier! Similar to Emma, Agnes' lessons are fun and engaging.

- Jocelyn El-Hage

Neon is very good with children, she identified my daughter’s personality very quick and know what’s the best way to teach my daughter since beginning.

- Melissa Mu

Neon taught my two daughters who were quite different in interests, abilities and personalities. Neon would use different methods to teach them and when selecting the music pieces, Neon would also select different pieces in accordance with my daughters' interests and abilities.

- Jane Chen

Grace has been teaching our daughter piano for around 8 months. We are so happy with the way she has progressed, Grace is an excellent teacher who is patient, encouraging and has a great understanding of how to teach new students.

- Nelly Salazar

My son began piano lessons with Grace this year. Her lessons are fun and engaging. She has a kind and personable demeanour that my son enjoys.

- Tanya Murphy

My children have benefitted greatly from Grace's methodical, patient and supportive piano tuition. Grace has helped them progress quickly and establish good foundations for technique, reading and aural skills.

- Matthew Farmer

We’ve had an incredible experience with Emma. Her teaching style is engaging and patient, making each lesson enjoyable.

- Carol Qiu

Emma is a great piano teacher teaching my 5 years old son. She split learning contents into small and manageable chunks so it's easy for me to track the progress.

- Ray Ma

Emma is a fantastic piano teacher and I would wholeheartedly recommend her for any age and skill level. My 6 year old son and I both took lessons with her for almost 2 years in NYC in person, and then online for a few months once she moved to Australia.

- Yevgeniya Levitin

I started taking lessons with Emma about 3 months ago, as a 32 year old complete beginner with no prior knowledge whatsoever, and I could not have hoped for a better teacher!

- Zena Rose

She is a fantastic teacher and musician who became an instant sensation and gained a full teaching studio in record time.

- Dmitry Alexeev

My two children (13 and 11) have had piano lessons with Emma for the past five years, both face to face and online, and I could not recommend her more highly.

- Ruth McCausland

Our son has recently started piano lessons with Emma and we can already see how his skills and musicality have developed even in a short space of time.

- Karin Stace

My 7-year old son has been learning piano with Polina, and we feel so lucky to have found her. She’s incredibly patient and has a gentle, encouraging teaching style that really suits Will’s personality. Polina takes the time to choose songs that he loves—popular tunes that keep him motivated and excited to learn. She also helps him fine-tune his singing, which has added another layer of enjoyment to his lessons. I've seen growth in both his confidence and his musical ability. Highly recommend Polina for any child starting out on their musical journey!

- Trishia Jandu

Grace is a great piano teacher with lots of patience. She creates a positive and enjoyable learning environment.

At All Hands Piano Academy, we’ve reimagined what music education should feel like — warm, personal, and built to last.

Why Most Schools Fall Flat

Let’s be honest — not all music education is created equal.

❌ Teachers come and go

Your child finally connects with someone… and they leave.

❌ Many instructors are undertrained or just passing time

— not passionate educators with real experience.

❌ Outdated or poorly maintained instruments

- make lessons feel like a chore instead of a dose of inspiration.

❌ Everyone gets the same cookie-cutter approach

- regardless of age, interest, or ability.

It’s no wonder so many students quit before they ever really fall in love with music.

Why We're Different

🎓 Experienced, long-term educators

We have a diverse team of dedicated music professionals. They’re highly educated, have years of experience, and a genuine love of teaching.

Young girl playing piano

🤝 Low turnover, high trust

We build relationships that last. Our families know who’s in the room, and students thrive with consistent guidance over years — not weeks.

🎹 Top-quality instruments & materials

Every student learns on a beautifully maintained grand or upright piano. No plastic keyboards here — we believe great tools support great learning.

🎵 Learning pathways as individual as your child

AMEB exams? Absolutely. Just want to jam on Taylor Swift? Let’s do it. We meet students where they are and help them grow from there — joyfully.

FAQs

If I sign up for lessons, am I locked into a whole term?

Your trial lesson is a one-time session with no obligation to continue. If you choose to enrol after the trial, you will need to pay for all the remaining weeks of the school term. Payment options:

  • Upfront for the entire term
  • Week-by-week payments (you will still be invoiced for all lessons in the term.)
What is your rescheduling policy?

We try our best to reschedule lessons if you ask. However, if we cannot find a new time, you will still need to pay for the missed lesson.

What qualifications do your teachers have?

All our teachers either hold or are completing an undergraduate degree in music or education with relevant music teaching experience. Some teachers also have postgraduate qualifications. We carefully match students with teachers based on availability, student age, level, and goals.

Do you offer group lessons?

AHPA does not offer group lessons directly, but we lease a room to a highly skilled teacher who runs group classes four days a week.
For more information, visit Music Connection Co.

What is the youngest age accepted at AHPA?

We can take students as young as 3.5 yrs for fun and engaging play-based lessons. However, readiness for piano lessons at this age varies between students. If you mention your child's age in our contact form, we will pair you with an appropriate teacher and materials for your trial lesson.
