At the age of seventeen, Agnes gave her first solo recital in Indonesia before pursuing her degree in Bachelor of Music (Performance) at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She has recently completed her Master of Music Studies (Performance) degree. In 2022, Agnes won first place in the Sydney Eisteddfod Piano Competition, the category of 20th and 21st Century Music.

As a teacher, Agnes is enthusiastic in teaching children and/ or fellow music lovers of all ages the beautiful language of music. She aims for a lesson structure that is fun-filled but also effective in building critical and independent musical thinking. Agnes is flexible in different teaching strategies to suit each student’s goals. She believes in

adapting piano techniques as early on to elevate students’ upmost musicality.

Agnes is a terrific teacher. I’m having piano lessons for the first time in my life, at 50, and I am very happy that she is teaching me. She is very patient and encouraging, and really knows her stuff. She found the songs I wanted to learn and even worked them out herself when there were no other sources.

My daughter Sophie began piano lessons at All Hands Piano Academy at the commencement of this year. Her first teacher Emma created a love of piano, music enthusiasm and a strong teacher/student bond with my daughter. Starting with absolutely no music knowledge at the age of 5 years (purely an interest in learning music and piano) almost 11 months on she is able to read music, play confidently pieces she works on and has already participated in a recital. Having now moved teachers across to Agnes (post Emma taking maternity leave) we could not be happier! Similar to Emma, Agnes' lessons are fun and engaging. She has a kind and personable teaching nature that my daughter loves. Agnes' lessons are well structured and tailored extremely well to my daughter's level - they are challenging but at the same time targets are within reach for fundamental development. Sophie has her second recital coming up with Agnes and we are so happy at her growth, enjoyment and love for piano. I highly recommend Agnes as a piano teacher from All Hand Piano Academy.
