Hans Sangtoki is a pianist, conductor, and educator currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Collaborative Piano Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. His teachers include Dr. Theresa Leung, Dr. Eun-Jung Byun and Natalia Ricci. As a collaborative artist, he has participated in masterclasses by Graham Johnson OBE and Lisa Herger (University for Music and Performing Arts, Vienna). As a conductor, he has appeared in masterclasses with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and the Jakarta Simfonia Orchestra under the guidance of Benjamin Northey and Rebecca Tong.

In addition to his performance work, Hans is an experienced music educator, teaching piano and chamber music to students of various levels. He enjoys working with young musicians in both individual and ensemble settings, helping them develop technical fluency, musical interpretation, and collaborative skills in a systematic manner. His teaching philosophy emphasizes a holistic approach to music-making, fostering both artistic growth and critical listening.

Hans is a recipient of the Mollie Neal Memorial Award and the Roger Woodward Award. He currently serves as the artistic director of the Cantate Deo Youth Orchestra, where he mentors and leads young musicians in orchestral performance.
