
Harry Tai
Senior Teaching ArtistHarry began studying piano at an early age, joining the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts Junior Music Course in 2006 under Mr. Kin Wai Shum. He earned a Diploma in Performing Arts (Music) and a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in 2015 and 2019, studying with Professor Gabriel Kwok. At the HKAPA, Harry received the Society of APA Scholarships and attended masterclasses with prominent pianists, including Eleanor Wong and Ronan O’Hora. Awarded the 2019/2020 Molly McAulay Memorial Full Scholarship, he pursued a Master of Music Studies (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, studying with Daniel Herskovitch and Clemens Leske.
Harry’s achievements include performing at the DMZ International Music Festival (2012–2014), earning an LTCL with Distinction (2014), and winning first runner-up at the 2015 Singapore International Youth Piano Competition. In 2019, he performed at Salzburg Mozarteum and with the HKAPA Symphony Orchestra, earning critical acclaim.
